ease of purchase and the lax gun laws. correct me if im wrong.

question- how short on a ar would i be able to go without it being classified as a sbr. and then what would i have to do to be able to own one?

just wondering if i should go with a longer barrel. or a shorter barrel.

if i go longer it will get used for small game hunting when i go to the lease. (coyote, rabbit, pig) and a small barrel, would probably be used for the same, but would probably be more of a range/fun gun.

Texas is pretty good, but Vermont and Alaska are probably "better" as they don't require a permit to CC or OC.

Virginia is slightly better in some respect. No license for open carry.

you dont get in trouble for occasional printing, unless you're wearing a fitted shirt and someone can definitely tell the outline of a gun is when you are in for trouble. it's only a misdemeanor i think

Unless Texas has stricter laws than the BATFE, it's 26" OAL.

misdemeanor or not, i would rather live in a state that didn't get me in trouble if i don't feel like sticking my gun deep in my trousers

According to the Brady Campaign, Oklahoma is the best state when it comes to guns.

Wyoming is about as lax as they come. You just have to be a resident of the state and you can get about everything.
