we did a 5.5 mile run, a 7k row, and 450 squat jumps in 90 min.
that's actually pretty impressive. I think I could maybe run half a mile before collapsing
brings back memories of training for half marathons.....back in the day I could run 5 miles without thinking about it but now that my thighs rub its a bit of a pain so I stoped running pretty much....
what is this for? sounds tough
crew....its rowing.....ive never been in such great shape....i just ran 2.5 miles in 17 minutes, and i feel great.....if you have a Crew club at your school, i strongly recommend it....it gets you in incredible shape.....and there's a lot of team spirit to help you keep motivated.
i wonder if UNF has one...
theres no physical way i could do that, congrats
they should... we have plenty of water around us
you have to run for crew? no thanks
university of florida
ha, I was sitting here thinking I wonder if the one at my school has to do all the stuff. Sounds like a crazy workout.
yea man......we practice everyday from 5-7 at Lake Newton....if u ever want to get a good workout....your welcome to join us.
i think gogz rows for UCF
i rowed for ucf for 3 years, i am not this year because im doign powerlifting.
even at my higher weight for a rower i was still very effective. at 235 which I was for most of my last year I could still run a 12:30 two mile. my erg scores were the best on the team and i had pretty good technique on the water as well. i just got tired of all the cardio work though. erg for an hour or more everyday and see how enjoyable it is. but yeah right now i would probably sink the boat. I'm not even sure that I would fit between the gunnels
what do all your rowing buddies say when they see you now?
whens you gonna be competing?
plain amazement, its great
i competed already in june, next one is the florida state AAPF championships november 19th
gogzy, how hard is it to get on the row team?
