What are the numbers per weight class? And are those single rep numbers?
You have to put on a pink bunny suit and kick bigdamray in the nuts.
Nevermind: I think I found it:
How fast can he run?
Is this RAW standard used at all? I guess that's how I'd like to go about it...
Actually, most of us go by the APF elite totals. Thay are higher. Here it is.
Excellent - thanks.
no, hardly anyone competes raw and its retarded to do so.....
The reason being, gear (especially bench shirts) protect you joints from injury. Even something as shitty as a Inzer Blast shirt will give enough support to prevent something like a rotator cuff injury. Doing heavy singles raw and to the chest all the time with heavy weight puts a lot of stress on your joints.
Raw reps are fine and very important (as I have recently discovered)....but lots of heavy singles put a lot of stress on your joints.
I've competed in a couple of raw meets. I totaled 1750 @220 and beat everyone in the geared open class that day. That was fun!!!
Only 700 lbs to go...
I don't disagree with you, just assumed this thread will turn to shit, as usual
I don't think I would ever do it again though, unless there was alot of money involved. There's just too much risk for injury. I did the last one a couple of months after my last BB contest, I used it to build my base strength back up.
just curious, what were your numbers?
who cares? Big lifters don't do cardio....I kid
look in mirror, everything you see if what not to do
When I did this first one I was at 242 and it was 8 years ago. I went squat-655, bench-457, deadlift-650. The one where I was 220 was 6 years ago and I went squat-633, bench-457, dead-660. Damn, those didn't seem like they were that long ago, I'm getting old!!
see the thing is those are in the same day, people ask me my big three it really doesnt matter since they are not done on the same day. Just different training days. Besides im the shittest bencher in the world at my size.
I'm at least class 4 on the 198 lbs section (I'd have to lose 2lbs as of this morning though )
