Have they hit 350rwhp yet?
in for answer
M3 is hot
500 rwhp by 2008...btw bmw son
The new gen is called E60?
E90 or E9X since there is the E91/E92.
350rwhp for 2500 bucks.
I bet the electronics and computers on that thing will make it a bitch to tune.
Well, since it has the VANOS, shouldn't it be EASIER to tune the fuel injection rates?
IB people start calling the motor unreliable cuz it's got a turbo
i talked to a couple bmw techs. lots of complaints from owners about the turbo overheating. im not sure if it's even a good idea to chip it at this point. the potential is there, but at the end of the day, people are buying the 335i as a DD not as a track/race car
people are buying 335i's so they can brag about how IF they modded their car it would make 400hp.... but will keep it stock cuz they dont want to void the warranty on a 50k car and they don't even know how turbos work
i'm a hater
although FWIW there was already a huge problem with fuel pump recalls and the fact BMW didnt even have enough pumps to go around so many 335 owners had their cars sitting at dealerships collecting dust for WEEKS...
so it makes sense people are hesitant to mod until they get the car running properly STOCK
I'm wondering how well the rear suspension is going to put the power down for all these people who will eventually be making 400rwhp + though...
The oil temp issues are basically resolved, early on an external oil cooler was an option, but now it is standard on all the cars.
all the current stuff offered are piggybacks, people are having a tough time cracking the encryption on it (but that seems to be the case for a number of new cars)
Very nice. Any forums where I can read more about the Vishnu package?
