Looks pretty sweet.
Game looks hard as fuck, and plays similar to Monster Hunter. I am so in.
also, I have yet to play a bad Atlus game.
I guess it's supposed to be really f'in hard
it's apparently brutal when it comes to difficulty.
I almost tagged this at gamefly but went with Afrika instead. I'll give it a go later on though most likely.
been out in japan and europe for months and has been pulling in 7s 8s and 9s for reviews.
It will probably get slaughtered in US reviews due to difficulty though.
Ask yourself - do you like Monster Hunter.
if you do, odds are you will like demon's souls
I guess I should have said that the difficulty was reminiscent of oldschool NES/SNES games.
Can die in a few hits, dying results in losing all Exp and a skill point from your highest level skill, etc.
wish it was on pc :9
Definitely in on this. I'm hoping I can wait until the 13th, so I can get in on that b2g1 at Toys R Us along with Uncharted 2 and Brutal Legend.
I for one look forward to this unforgiving difficulty. I'm sick of playing games that are closer to interactive stories than they are tests of mental reflex and problem solving. This should quench my thirst wonderfully.
game looks fuckin dope
i LOVE monster hunter so im hoping this game is going to be even better
Never played monster hunters, but the trailers give me the impression it's something like Oblivion meets Shadow of the Colossus. Would you say that's a fair assumption?
i hope they have shit in Demon souls like monster hunter
fighting 2 bosses at once with a time limit
the Ratholos and Rathian fight was fuckin awesome
didn't realize this was coming out, probably in now
am wondering this too since I have never played Monster Hunter
I'll check it out once the holiday rush is over, in 2010 Too many big games in between now and then though that have priority.
Demon's Soul DOES look pretty damn cool though. I like the gothic art style.
I feel like if I don't get this game within the first couple of months of release it's online component will suck when I do get it
i predict mass whining about difficulty when it's released.
games are too ezmode
What makes this game so hard?
Every time you lose a life the game automatically withdrawls $5 from your bank account and forwards it to your dad under the subject line "ballet lesson rainy day savings".
waiting for it in gamefly. long q though.
... the concept at first glance reminds me of DevilMayCry.
got a 9.0 from gamespot
GameTrailers gave it 8.9, I just watched the review... game looks awesome Why the hell do publishers decide to release all of their AAA titles within a month of each other?
