Just to let you know that if I can do it ANYONEcan. No joke.
Right on, you're an inspiration! I got 9 months clean, and going to make a new year's resolution to quit the cig's.
That's totally cool, especially with the great, long sobriety. I once had 8 years off cigarettes and then relapsed in the middle of a two week blackout, came out of blackout and had been smoking for a whole week...took me years to quit smoking again, and that's one reason why I think the sobriety is so important. For the record, I now have 21 years of sobriety too and don't smoke either, so good luck to both of us!!!
I'm just glad that we have some real veterans among us... best of luck to you both...
and you too, eligh - but i talk to you on a daily basis anyways
I'm measuring in minutes right now unfortunatly but the dry spell was quite long this time consideirng things got pretty tough.
i think most people have a problem quitting because so many people are doing it around you. if you think about it, it's really strange that pot is illegal and cigarettes aren't.
It's a tough one though!!
6 years sober now and did quit smokes for almost a year, but started again.
