Used my sb600 shot through an umbrella and a reflector for lighting.
They're not bad but they don't really stand out. A little hair light would have been nice.
1st one is a bit oof and they all seem to be over exposed a bit
While the photos are flat, she most certainly is not.
not bad at all. but something is bothering me, maybe the Focus is a bit off.. I'm not totally sure.
EDIT: Maybe its the PP to get her skin smoother making it seem OOF.
look a touch overexposed to me.
I like number 2, but it looks nice until you scroll down too far and have a nice portrait into huge boobs Maybe that's just cause I'm a girl, but I think it'd be nicer with a tighter vertical crop. Would just make it look more "classy"
Yes I really need to get at least another flash or a strobe.
There wasnt any skin smoothing at all. Do you think its my fstop? I also shot handheld so its probably not super sharp.
hah she said the same thing! Next time ill try some more "classy photos," im sure she would rather than the boobs hanging out.
#2 my favorite
Glad it wasn't just me then
Also the color is a little red for a portrait probably. If you were to print one of those out it would look a little weird. I'd suggest shooting in Adobe RGB for doing shots of people, or doing a little tweaking of the color in PS or lightroom.
Yea it maybe a little red eh. I did print out some and they seem fine. I use adobe RGB 1998 at work, but I heard for photography that srgb would gibe you better color.
sRGB makes colors pop a bit more since the colorspace is a bit smaller. It's completely up to you though.
It all depends on the skin tone that your subject has.
looks a tad soft
ahhh thanks for clearing that up.
not enough contrast or something.
