Out of focus.
1. needs side lighting. your straight on flash leaves a rear shadow
2. they are out of focus
3. dont know if i'd stay with that dark background since their hair is that dark
thanks. at least i can get some real feedback.
I'll be snapping away again.
very bad lighting
work on lighting
what are you using for light? is it just the onboard flash?
that was my first guess
No I use the 580ex....
and YEAHHHH, I don't know how or what settings. pathetic I know!
more money than skills eh? seriously though, don't just aim that flash directly at the model, bounce it off something or use a diffuser
You need to setup a flash unit to bang behind her to get the halo effect around her head. You have to be a genious to photograph a girl with black hair on a black background with improper lighting.
Lighting issues much?
less makeup more naked.
also, depth of field FTW.
harsh light and harsh shadow
your lighting and model are ftl
kind of looks like a scary dude. You should put zombie makeup on her and take shots outside of your "studio" or wherever that was taken.
would be nice if the lighting was better
Move away from the background.
