Anybody have one? i'm in the market for one but would like to hear what others have to say about it.
i dont think they're out yet
I've seen a couple but haven't had time to play with it much. I don't really like how it flips/feels thuogh. In general, I'm not a huge se fan though.
They have them at www.expansys.com
Have you checked www.howardforums.com for reviews on it?
...also not a huge SE fan. (have a T68i and a T616. Prefer my Nokia 6230)
where did you see them? they arent out for retail sales in the us
meh. not impressed with anything from se
expansys is usually really expensive for phones try myworldphone.com or no-air-time.com they are usually much more reasonable. I just got a k700i from myworld phone
customers brought them into the store. didn't ask them where they got them from though. probably international.
I just got one off eBay.. $250.00 shipped... I've always had good luck with SE products. Can't beat the battery life... Got a bluetooth wireless headset too... nice for driving
I bought a Z600 when they first came out and I was very impressed with the screen quality and reception. It's an awesome phone even though its slightly chunky, it fits in the pockets just fine.
Awesome. How do the ring tones sound? And is there a program that lets you create your own?
You can make the ring tones obnoxiously loud and yes, you can make your own.
Nokia 6230 has MP3 ringtone and alarm capabilities and is the size of Nokia's smallest US form factor (very pocket friendly and not chunky at all).
Also plays MP3's through a built-in mini horn speaker that sounds pretty decent. Has bluetoooth, FM Radio, Video Recorder, etc.
If it comes on a phone, the 6230 has it...except for Symbian.
I looked at that phone and was sold on it, but I prefer a flip. I've never had good luck with open faced phones. I destroy them within a month.
Nokia is coming out with some pretty hot flip phones soon but overall with features, eye candy and good reception, Sony Ericsson takes the cake. I have a P900. waiting to do a P910 screen swap and firmware swap if all possible. We shall see.
I don't think the Z600 is sold by any of the US service providers but they are pretty easily obtainable from third party dealers.
Sony Ericsson sells the Z600 by itself from their website but you can buy it for a lot less elsewhere. T-Mobile was the only provider slated to release it in the U.S. but backed out at the last second. The firmware and pricetags and everything were ready to go but for some reason they never released it. Who knows why not. It's an awesome phone though.
is the z600 ever going to go to a company in america?
i have a z600 and i personally dont think that its that great of a phone. the reception of the phone is quite lacking and the camera is terrible.
my old t39 was a far superior phone. i wish sony would just make an updated version of the t39 (a t49?) since it was stylish and functional.
being in the field you should know the US market is 6 months behind the rest of the world when it comes to getting cell phones.
