I had to change my Operating System to Windows 98 SE after Windows XP Pro decided to stop working, and everything is working fine except my sound card. I got a new one (only payed 15 bucks for it, no big deal) to see if that would fix the problem. I've tryed installing it 3 times so far and it has yet to work.
If you need anymore details, I'll be glad to tell you as much as I know.

Any help would be greatly appreciated you can contact me at

Are you sure you are using the correct drivers? I would say that with most hardware, drivers for Win 98 and XP are different.

What exactly happens or goes wrong when you try to install it?

It installs fine, but when I try to run sound stuff it says the driver is not installed.
