First let me say I am a bodybuilding noob but I have been lurking on this forum for a while and going to my local gym 3 times a week trying to bulk. From what I've read here, free weights and compound exercises are the way to go, unfortunately I have lower back pain/problems so I am wary of doing heavy deadlifts/squats because I'm afraid of fucking up my back worse. Basicly I do everything exept squats/deads. Would a weight belt help? Are there alternatives I could do? I need advice.
