Details are overwhelming...
Update: Apparently the alarm company called the police this morning @ 6:30 to inform them of a break in and they responded to find guns laying all over the place. The alarm company called back and said that the motion sensors are continuing to be set off so someone is inside. Austin SWAT is there, but the haven't made any contact?
So it was a break in, not some guy renting a gun and going nuts. That's good at least.
Though it would be helpful if there was a link
Its on the home page right now.
Hopefully. If there is someone in there, they are screwed.
i've been in there a couple of times
apparently some famous italian gun designer from Beretta was having a showing there today. His over and under sell for up to $100,000 and apparently they already had some there. i bet he took those guns and was gone 10 minutes before the cops got there and is sitting at home watching tv
If this is true, that is messed up!
Over now, no one was in the building when they checked it out. They are doing inventory now to see what is missing.
So SWAT was outside since dawn surrounding an empty building? Don't they have thermal cameras or something?
Seems to happen alot, they surround an empty place or, finally go in only to find the guy shot himself 12 hours ago.
A gun shop wouldn't be a good place to just storm into if you think someone is in there.
Hence the thermal cameras, robots or whatever else our tax dollars get spent on. I sure as hell wouldn't want to storm in there =P
There is NO good place to storm into when hostiles might be inside.
I would say a gun shop is probably on the worse part of the list though, especially this one. They really have an unbelievable amount of ammo there.
