Anyone ever wanted to get all episodes of a series... the original Star Trek, ST:TNG or DS9 and just watch it from beginning to end in a single session? This obviously would involve planning and... well, drugs. Because there's no way I can watch that much DS9 without some opium or something, and no sunlight whatsoever, and lots of soda and popcorn.

I always imagine that some day I'll get the DVD set and set aside a week or however long it would take and just do it.

    Is this nutty?

I would greatly enjoy it. I've watched all the series in order, and have watched eps on shrooms. To do what you are suggesting would probably require a quarter sheet of acid or so :x:

the onlythign i have done all together was the entire star wars series from epi 1,2,3, miniserise, 4,5,6...that was a bitch to do

    In a single session??? :eek3:

I just got done watching Farscape in about 6 days, and that was doing about 8-10 episodes a day.

There's no way I'd ever even think about doing DS9 or anything like that in a single session. Each episode is about 44 minutes, and there are about 26 episodes per season (7 seasons). That's a total of around 120 hours of tv. 5 days solid.

If I didn't have to work yeah.... other than that, it would take some time and lack of sleep to get through it fast.

But yeah, I dl'ed TNG/DS9/VOY/Enterprise and watched through all of them when I didn't work ;D

It would help to watch the episodes sped up. I tried watching an episode of DS9 at 1.5x speed and it was still understandable.

I couldn't enjoy watching episodes (or anything else) continuosly for thet long though. The most I've watched is 6 episodes of TNG in a day (in multiple sittings).

When I was younger they used to do Star Trek the original series season long marathons and I used to watch those.

Definitely wouldn't be able to make a whole series run in one session though.

If I win lotto I may just try this, but sleeping will be an option.

Only thing I watched for more than 3-4 in a row was Firefly and I almost made that whole series before giving up.

I can't watch Tv for more than like 2 hours straight anymore, I just get too bored and restless.
