i need some ideas about what stuff we should do.
talk about pictures
You could share the pictures then talk about them.
you need a benefit to joining. i would say go around and talk to local camera shops about offering a discount to club members. if you have access to high quality printers in your schools computer lab you could talk to the university about reduced cost print making for members. you should also offer workshops: raw editing, flash, archiving, web galleries, color profiles, photographers rights, photojournalism, etc.
those are just some quick thoughts, but the point i am trying to make is do not start a club to have a club, give your members some benefits to joining.
gang wars with other schools photography clubs should be your number one priority
Invite guest speakers (photojournalists, studio photographers, sportsshooters, etc...) to talk about how they got started as pros, give inspiration, and to give advice on how to purse a career if interested.
i'll let you touch my camera if you let me touch yours... :buttsex:
Have weekly shoot meets
