for (low/non impact) cardio work at home?
Which is better? Pro's/Con's of each?
Pick your poison I don't see a huge difference either way.
I prefer the eliptical or recumberant bike but it's all about what you prefer.
I personally prefer elliptical.

I once heard that there was something about the elliptical machine where your brain likes it more than other forms of cardio. This could be nonsense but I did hear it from a good source. Anyway I like elliptical but its good to vary cardio so you don't get bored.
depending on the type, if you use the little arm thingy's you may get a better all-around warmup or burn a couple more cals but i can't imagine it matters much. i use elliptical when i'm not running simply because it holds my interest more so i stay on there longer
The stationary bike hurts my ass after about 15 minutes on it no matter what I do. I can sit on the recumbant for a good long while.
