I've heard he's got a gun store.. Anyone been there? Where is it?
In Houston Obviously...
Jim Prueutt has a gun store off Huffmiester and 290. Kinda pricey though.
Hmmm I've heard Steven's had some down off of 59 somewhere... Oh well... Where are some other gun stores/ranges in an around houston? I live off westhiemer, near Fogo... I've been to top gun, it's also a bit pricey...
Jim Pruett is the only one of the two that I know has a store. His is basically a www.galleryofguns.com outlet. From what I can tell he orders through them and his pricing is based on such. The shop is nice and customer service is great. I'd stay away from buying from Top Gun. The gun pricing there is ridiculous. I'd also stay away from Collectors firearms on Fondren & Richmond. It's best to look at the guns there and buy either online or from a gun show. Houston has plenty of gun shows.
Actually Top Gun's price on a glock 19 wasn't all that horrible... right at MSRP but yeah I'm waiting until August 20th, that's the next gunshow at the G.R.B. convention center. Top Gun's range fee seems a bit high too.. what do other's pay?
How does buying a gun at a gunshow work? Can I take it home that day? I was a federal employee not too long ago so I've gone through a 10 year background check already with fingerprinting... I've heard that helps?
I paid $399 + tax for my Glock 19.
How? Where? Hook me up?
I got it at LE price from Troopers Supply. They aren't in business anymore. Sorry bro.
There is always Carters Country. I agree Pruetts is pricey, I only go there to get ammo for my Beowulf .50 since no one else around me carries it, and to drool.
