I’ve been doing it with SPX lately.

I have like 10 different stocks with short call or put spread and the vol just doesn’t contract like the indices. Even when the trades are going my way it’s been flat as fuck so I gave up with the individual names unless it’s selling strictly calls or puts.

I use Fidelity so I couldn't find anything like that. I did go clicking around a bit and found something about margin access and figured I might just need to turn that on to access options trading. So I did that and it said something about my cost basis might be messed up for a couple days. It's showing shit about margin on my account now but I still don't think I can trade options.
