sharp and creamy, doesn't get any better
just a test shot, more to come soon.
404 sharp not found
Too shallow I think. It's relatively in focus around the left edge next to the bulb.
uhhh... doesn't look that sharp, purp fringing, top left bokeh looks pretty harsh
I didn't see the purple until you mentioned it, and now I can't help but look at it
How about something interesting?
Bring on the other test shots, not that impressed with this sample.
bokeh looks chunky and not creamy at all. sorry holmes.
this is creamy bokeh.
im gonna guess 135 f2?
This is as awesome as your 105mm macro.
135 f2 is an awesome lens
It honestly seems like you just used the word "creamy" because you've heard it before.. it's really not "creamy", smooth, buttery, soft, or anything, it's pretty harsh. There's no way you looked at that and thought "Holy shit that is some creamy bokeh! "
135 f2 is a rad lens though. If it was AF-S I'd own one.
no exif viewer at work
completely wide open, straight OOC, not to mention it is a large sample. I don't think you'll find many lenses that are much sharper than this wide open, maybe except for my 105 VR micro
your photos were also taken from 2 feet away, obviously the bokeh is creamier
not to mention they are .03 megapixels
oh look, mine looks sharp and creamy too
not hating on your pics, but its not really a fair comparison...
you would be correct
you would be correct as well
looking forward to shooting with it
and don't worry, more samples to come, i'll hopefully get some good use out of it this weekend.
135L is razor sharp at f/2
it is? maybe i need to use mine
how about Zeiss Sonnar?
shitty film (had to use it up)
what the fuck are we supposed to be looking at in that bread pic
Can I play too?
^ the 85 1.8 has been tempting me ever since I lost my 50 in pow
is this photo a joke?
