So today was the first day of my new cardio routine in the morning. I made myself get up at 6:30 today, at the gym by 7AM and on elliptical by 7:05AM. I usually go on this thing for about 35-40min, 500 calories, level 9 intensity, about 165-170 revs/min. This morning however, i'm not sure if it was the leftover grogginess or what but I only was able to do about 260 calories, 20 minutes at the same intensities. Now i'm at work though and feel great since working out in the morning gets my day started better. Should I continue morning sessions or will my longer duration workout at night suit me better overall for a more effective workout?
