then follow with 5-7g of creatine/day
thats a fuck load of creatine. is it really necessary?
I don't think it is, but that's just me.
the loading phase is a marketing scheme to get you to burn thru creatine faster so you'll buy more. take the normal dose
As I understand it the 5-7gr a day is normal for monohydrate the "loading" bit seems a bit much.
Loading is bullshit.
Yea but all studies have been done with loading... creatine is cheap enough these days anyway, its not like thats really gonna hurt your wallet.
so should i do this loading or not?
i did it, in multiples of 5g 5 times throughout the day.
Go ahead, what the fuck do I care. It's pointless but don't let that stop you.
I also went by .035g/kg when I did my Creatine Monohydrate supplementation.
ill take your advice over most people here... looks like ill stick to 5g/day
In clinical trials they showed that, in terms of initial weight gain, loading created the gains faster than not loading. But both groups ended up at the same point eventually.
I wouldn't bother loading. Also, I know this is anecdotal, but I have a friend who got kidney stones after loading creatine at 25g a day.
