so we got a $1,000 stipend at work for office equipment/furniture. the 15% off sale ends today so it'll be $1300 with taxes. It's blacker than the regular aerons and $100 cheaper
i dont really need any office equipment...maybe a floor lamp and some wireless earbuds
:dunno:
not a gamer hth

Buy the regular Aeron chair or the Embody. Why would you buy the gamer model, even if you were a gamer?
it's blacker and cheaper. i dont think there is any other difference, maybe some angles or something

I've sat in one for years, it's a good chair when I don't have to pay for one. Do you have other office furniture needs, such as more monitors/arms and desk? You could get an Ergochair 2 for 1/3 the cost and spend the rest elsewhere.

I don't miss having a headrest at all with my Embody. I thought I'd miss it since my last chair had one, but that just made me sit with bad posture tbh.

The head rest allows you to shift into full recline and pass out. Necessary to collect yourself when working a soul crushing office job between bouts of “per my prior email.”

I'm still using an Aeron from like 10 years ago and no real complaints. I'd prefer an Embody based on aesthetics alone, but I've never sat in one.

oh, and at least the Aeron gaming edition is all black vs the Embody having the Logitech turquoise-blue embedded throughout

200,000 years ago called and want to know what you think changed in terms of human physiology and ergonomics between 2002 and now, lol.

by that logic we should be sitting on rocks still. Ergonomics improve with tech and time. Nice try.
