taurine supplementation...

    To those of you who supplement taurine, how much do you use and when?

    I am pretty prone to cramps and my boss had a bunch of containers of taurine powder.. 1/4tsp = 1g..it says 1-3 grams per day..

    I put 4g in with my post-w/o shake.. too much, too little?

    i was taking 1g 3x a day on clen... dont have any cramping problems normally

    I aim for 3-5g per day...

    Ideally it should be taken between meals.

    taurine deficiency isn't the reason you're cramping

    so, like, doctor ceaze, are the desired effects of taking taurine and arginine (and even creatine?) are similiar? all three require an increase in water intake, no? furthermore is cramping due to a level of dehydration or something else?

    if the cramping is induced by dehydration, hydration is key. if you are deficient in taurine, and are still consuming water, the taurine will help with the water levels at a cellular level.
