What tax programs is or did everyone use? Looking for something cheap that works well.
Did mine online.
got my federal refund in about a week, and since i'm in california, who knows if or when i'll see my state refund
Gotta love living in Cali!...heard there are new tax hikes too?!?
and . on the california thing too... I'm worried
TurboTax online. Does everything the app does.
I wish I got refunds. I end up paying in every year. Better that I keep my money and earn interest off it then let the government keep my money all year and let them earn interest off it.
QuickBooks Pro 2009 ftw
How about that QuickBooks update last year that erased all files on a user's desktop. Ooops.
timemachine ftw, but that is another thread
haha erased everyones information talk about a big ooops!
I just used turbortax online worked out pretty slick.
yep...never understood why people buy the programs when online does it just as good, if not better. Plus, it remembers your shit from the previous year and imports as you go. I don't care if i end up paying more to use the website than the program based on this feature alone.
This was before Time Machine I do believe. They ended up reimbursing people for the cost of a data recovery program but in many cases it was too late. You'd be surprised how many accountants offices keep no backups and lots of important info on the desktop. There was also an iTunes update that erased all the user's files on their desktop a while back. Apple quickly pulled the update and corrected it.
