Tracking my fucking lifts. I never use to do this and I can't tell you how long I was lifting the same weight. Months on end hovering at the same weight. Finally I got Gym Buddy for my iphone (you could use paper, but F that analog bullshit) and I steadily increase my weight almost every week. The gains I've seen since January are pretty great and I'm close to being in the best shape of my life (not anything amazing but I'm on my way). So, if you are not tracking every rep and every pound, you should be. It's great to look back at what you were lifting and see where you are now. And GymBuddy does this little celebration if you increase your 1rpm for a set which is surprisingly motivating.
