where the fuck were the "good" robots fighting on the side of the humans?!
I don't mean to follow your threads, but this is all shit I was asking myself during the entire movei!!
i'm just making a new post for each thing that bothers me
they didn't have to add ALL of the Animatrix stories to the actual movie....
they should have referenced the important ones... like that one! It was the last Animatrix short on the DVD for crying out loud.
ya... but that seemed to be a part of the humans strategy.
the Animatrix is a subset of what is happening in the film trilogy... therefore it should take into account stuff that happens in both
there's only so much they can add to a movie that's already 2 hours and 20 minutes long .... things DO hit the cutting board sometime.
there were a few things they could've chopped to throw that little tidbit in... but that's not even a relevant issue. They didn't decide to NOT throw in that reference to the Animatrix because of time constraints, they just didn't decide to throw it in... for unknown reasons.
Never seen the Animatrix. Whats the story about the good robots?
plus "non-hardcore" matrix fans were bored enough with all of the storyline/dialogue in the firstplace.... i doubt the typical watcher would want to see that part of the story anyways. Even if they did... most people would probably be like is this all about
if they're bored by plot development without kungfu shit then that's their fucking problem and the writers directors shouldn't cater to those fuckstick's preferences.
Yeah, it would of probably confused people as to why some robots were fighting on the human's side. Hell, I doubt many people got what the Architect said during the conversation with the Oracale.
O: I presume you're going to keep your promise.
A: What do I look like? Human?
That came right out of The Second Rennassance. I doubt anyone would of gotten that if they hadn't seen the Animatrix.
Second point would be, what if that station on the surface was the only place that they were trying to convert robots. They all died, except the chick and that newest robot, and they were having issues.
it's called ticket sales....
Is matriculated the short where they catch one of the robots and show it a new world? If so, that one robot was kept plugged into that world I think. As for any other robots that went good. I doubt they'd be able to overtake thye shitload of bots drilling to Zion.
Did anyone wonder why those APU's lasted so long in the fight? In the war in the Animatrix those things were promptly owned in minutes.
Guns... lots of guns.
Because the machines were fighting with big warships and artilery. All they had in the Zion fight were Sentinels.
1BadZ what is your interpretation of the meaning of what the Architect said at the end of the film
All the 'good' robots and the scientists working on them died in that short. I took it as a one-off experiemnt conducted by a select few and when they died, that was the end of it.
By teh same token, the fact that Ghost and Naomi's ship was down was directly from the game. Alot extra is there to be picked up if you watched the animatrix and played the game.
that would be cool.
