The disparity between men's sexual health and women's sexual health is astounding.

The putting in the IUD was not my issue.
It was the removing it when the OBGYN yanked the shit and couldn't get it out.
It was the only time I legit screamed and cried during any pain. Then he sprayed something, probably lidocaine, on my pristine girl bits and it felt like he poured acid on me.

It was not a good time.
that's terrifying :wtc:

i thank god i was unconscious for my removal every time i hear about people getting theirs out

i'm sorry

let's just say that they think a physical dilator is generally enough

here's the rub: most of the people who designed these processes weren't women and have zero idea about what any of this shit feels like. they assume, wrongly, that because our bodies are designed to handle childbirth/sex that our vaginas are somehow made of steel and are therefore unhurtable. that's not the case. they are tender and delicate. these processes hurt, but because of where they come from, the chances of pain mitigation being used are slim to none unless you ask for them specifically, and sometimes will still be denied.
