If only the 3.5L V6 was available now.
I like the styling, too. But I'm with you in the power department.
It's like the perfect car for my mom as is. I'd drive one if it had more power.
It's a great platform because it is basically a 40k Volvo. If only it had a proper engine.
I think it gains a proper engine next year.
True, I would love to be able for my mom to have one, she deserves a nice car.
Cobra engine swap?
Ford reports that 9 out of 10 moms love this car.
But considering its based on another platform, I would trust it.
A lot of women will buy this car. Women with kids.
My dad said the same thing yesterday.
The more I see that floppy 500, the more I hate it.
The more I see the F6 typhoon, I ask why can't friggin ford bring it here:
I have yet to see one on the road!
they look kinda cool...pretty much a midsize AWD "luxurious" sedan for like $23K
this thread is missing something
Not midsized in any respect, they're huge bitches. Nearly as long as the Crown Victoria with much more room inside and trunk that could hold a couple of bodies. Perfect car for old people with no taste in cars, not exactly a huge part of the new car market.
I'd pimp an AWD one with the bigger engine.
It looks like shit
I'd rather have a Fusion, or SVT Fusion whenever that comes out. Best new Ford next to the Mustang and GT.
I remember telling my friend at the auto show "hey look at that trunk, I could fit 4 bodies in there"
then some random guy was like "I don't know what kind of bodies you are thinking of, but i could fit 6 or 7 in there!"
hey... its a pretty cool car, the interior dosen't look all that bad.
What people are going to like about it the most is the fact that it you sit high in it like a SUV (the reason why most people like SUV's)
I agree with the power thing... but luckily the Duratec is a modifiable engine... that is if you are into doing it with this kind of car. The least they could've done with this car was give the AWD the 4 liter engine.
