the energy of a bullet doesn't knock people down. Does that mean TV lied to me?
yes, send that video to every armchair commando that says a .45 will knock a person down even if they get hit in the arm.
Mythbusters is wrong, if its on TV it has to be true.
but Mythbusters is on TV too
My head just exploded.
I heard .50AE will knock down some walls.
.50BMG's actually change the rotation of the earth.
Force = Mass * Acceleration
If you say it, it must be true.
Only if someone is getting buried in a rock slide.
You said it yourself
This will get ugly
Well tell him to stop trolling around bashing me in whatever thread I post in, and this wouldnt go anywhere.
Black Talons were rumored to do all sorts of things, the black is acutally a teflon coating on the tip.
The Talon did cause an outrage, so they were remanufactured less the teflon tip.
Except for the teflon tip (which I learned is just black) that is an accurate statement.... I see you are just trolling through
jesus ladies... calm down.
Look at it this way, everytime this happens its one person who starts it, and Mods wont do anything about it so they 'ness will continue
Did mythbusters do anything with a 12ga? Cause I've shot deer before with 3 1/2" OObuck that flew a little ways
a slug was the only thing that even moved it, even then it was more like a hard punch.
They hung a 140lb pig balanced on a hook so it would fall off if it was hit too hard, they went from 9mm to .45's to .44 magnum rounds. Even full auto from a MP5 and Thompson. Hardly made the body flinch. Only when they went to a 12GA slug did it get knocked off the hook, they think the only reason it did then was because they hit the hip bone.
They tried it later with their dummy Buster and a vest. Pretty much the same results.
At the end they concluded that you can only get knocked back as much as the shooter.
as I said before: I shot a doe at 15 yards with a 3 1/2" OObuck. when I threw the gun up she bounced to her left. I het her in mid air and it threw her backwards tumbling thru yaupan trees and sliding down a creek embankment. I guess I should have had a video going
What about the 7.68? Did they test it?
Sorry, had to.
Well done, sir.
