Yeah the main bad review I read was saying they act like nobody knows what any of this technology is anymore. And repeating shit over and over for no reason.:hsd:
But a codec exists in our current reality. They don't explain sub space communication but have to explain a fucking codec

I just hope Red Letter Media gives it one more last chance, but I truly think they've noped the fuck out of Star Trek altogether. They didn't even bother reviewing Strange New Worlds, which was at least tolerable for the most part.

I only have Angry Joe to look forward to and two small-time YouTubers I watch.

man it just feels so recycled. Picard and Riker doing an inspection, seeing Geordi's kid piloting the refit titan (which looks like the refit enterprise A), it's all just nostalgia baiting with ST Generations with Sulu's kid.

really not liking how they're making the captain of the titan the antagonist. he's being responsible and doing the right thing, even if he's kind of a dick about it. Its like they just said, "REMEMBER CAPTAIN STYLES ON THE EXCELSIOR? THAT WAS A HOOT!"

the starfleet security handler told Raffi to find the red lady, it's an act of war, an attack is imminent, and Raffi literally googled images of red lady in her console, and then got mad when googling results didn't show anything.

Wow.

Seven mentions that she only joined Starfleet because of Janeway and Picard. It just doesn't make sense that she would go against her real mentor's guidance (Janeway) and favor Picard. If it was Janeway coming to ask her to violate orders, then it would make total sense. But Picard? Nah

oh god i hope that's not picard's kid somehow. With the totally obvious foreshadowing in the opening scene about his legacy, I have a hard time believing it isn't. if so, why does he have a british accent? beverly doesn't

I think the reason a lot of people like it is they watched S1 and 2 and their expectations are gutter trash.

I didn't see the first two to completion so I don't have that bullshit to taint my perspective.
i skipped a BIG part of season 2 shit was unbearable just to see how it ended.
