I could understand Bev's ship being dark because it is in gray mode with limited power and with damage. But there's no reason for the Titan or shuttle scenes to be that way. As others have said, the Raffi character and plot seem out of place so far."

Finally got time to watch, so I came back to this thread for others' thoughts. After reading 2-3 pages straight of the angry honda's literal meltdown, I can say that was almost as entertaining as the episode lol

I think my criticisms were valid, although probably they were a bit magnified by my bias

sure but the rank & command structure is organized fairly similar. Where is @Cyan Connect when you need him?

It's effectively a military but he did say it

I've always thought of Starfleet as being like the NOAA. It's got an officer corps, but it doesn't exist to fight war.

Definitely valid because there's so many "nitpicks" of things they got wrong, they just add up. If it was like 2 or 3, it wouldn't be so bothersome.

I've gotten an hour and 6 minutes in and about to call it a night, so I took a glance at the comments, and they do NOT like this review. 😂

A lot of people noped out after the comparison 4 minutes in where he likened it to being an abused housewife. Guess they didn't know their audience, lol.

he gets a lot of hate for his politics, and he lets it spill into his reviews. A lot of people don't like it. But objectively they are 100% correct imo
