Watched S3:E2 last night, is there a writers strike again?

Seriously? They spend a bit of time on the already obvious its Picard's kid. After Picard goes all "who is your daddy and what does he do?" in the brig, Riker skips federation records, DNA comparisons, and transporter log instead wakes a patient AMA. Immediately after "Picard you are the father" Captain Shaw consults regulations and right after the prime directive find nepotism as a guiding pillar. And he just goes "screw it guess I can't do anything for the 500 people on this ship, here's the ship retired admiral."

At least we got to see Worf land some real blows.
I had Shaw's back when he was stubborn about the rules and protecting his crew. Then when Seven was like, "yo do you wanna be the guy who is responsible for these legends dying" he was like "yeah i guess idc about the cew, my reputation is more important" and I was like come on bro

So this is the first time I decided to watch one of this guy's videos since it's short. Basically found out when the show is supposed to be "Amazballz".

According to Dave, episode 4 is good, and episodes 5 and 6 are the best episodes of the season. So...we have to wait out a few more fucking episodes. And these sons of bitches saw the entire season already, not just the first 6 episodes. Pricks.

if you listen closely

when they enter the nebula, it plays the same sound effect from star trek 2
They seemed to be pulling EVERYTHING from original movies.

FAIRLY certain I'm the ONLY person to notice the Red Alert sound in the opening with Beverly, is the TOS movies red alert sound effect. Haven't heard that since Star Trek 5.

Star Trek is developing a series that would see Michael Dorn's Worf and Michelle Hurd's Raffi team up after the events of Star Trek: Picard.

Damn bro Raffi fucking sucks. I've disliked the character from the start. The disrespect she gave captain Rios. Tsk tsk.

Not real convinced about Beverly's reasons.

she mentions the dangers of being Picard, and of being Picard's son....yet she was pretty satisfied with Wesley being in danger... constantly. Yeah she says losing Wesley was another reason....but I'm not buying it. 2/10 justification for Beverly's behavior
