They say a lot of people become mean as they age because mental inhibitors decline so maybe they are just trying to convey that.

Watching Star Trek Beyond......one thing Discovery and Picard has done is make me appreciate these films way more than I did previously.

I rewatched enterprise after slogging through discovery season three. I swore I was watching Emmy award winning television after that hot garbage

Picard kept needling and second guessing Riker until Riker took the course of action Picard suggested and it got them blasted. It was his decision, sure, but Picard more or less goaded him into it so I think the accusatory response by Riker makes sense there.

Vadic's crew at least is Changelings (even if she isn't, though she might be as well), right? The ones Beverly blasted on her ship disintegrated the same way the one Worf killed did. So all the different groups that were coming after them were just Vadic's crew in different guises I assume?

The Changling that Worf vaporized, didn't leave ashes though.

Could be just another fuck up by this group of writers forgetting what they wrote in a previous episode.

interesting, yeah, but i don't buy it. Picard constantly needling Riker then straight up insulting him (telling him he's fearful of loss), followed quickly by Picard's plan seemingly dooming them, is more than enough reason for Will to tell Picard off the way he did imo.
