I enjoy strange new worlds. It's not as good as the Orville, but it's still very well done.

Yeah, SNW is actually decent. I only had a problem with like 2 episodes I think.

After discovery I was desperate for something halfway good. The first episode is probably the worst of the series thus far. The Easter eggs sprinkled throughout each episode keeps me...engaged

I just have a hard time processing that my all-time favorite Star Trek episode and a pretty dark Star Trek episode at that got turned into a cartoon named after it. Sorry but just how I feel.

First season was a little rough, but they die down the over-the-topedness like half way through. 2nd and 3rd season are pretty good even by Star Trek standards.

I never disliked Wil/Wesley back in the TNG days, hell, I was practically the same age...but I HATE him now. He's so fucking cringe now.

yeah i had no issue with his character when i was a kid, but something about him just rubs me slightly the wrong way these days... I know he's genuine with his enthusiasm, but it always feels like he's acting too. idk.

He just leaned real hard into the nerd tropes and is insufferable.

in his defense he was a child actor and also an abused child, so he may not HAVE much of an outward facing personality outside of the actor persona... defense mechanisms and such.

doesn't change the fact that it makes him difficult to watch sometimes though.
