So why do you guys work out? Is it for the personal satisfaction of reaching that goal? Were you fat your whole life and have found a new healthy way of living that promotes optimism? Do you do it for the health benefits it allows you to have now and in the future as your heart and muscles are stronger to avoid problems later? Or... Is it for a wedding in a week? Is college coming up and you want nice biceps? Are you just a plain old tool? What fucking DRIVES you? For me? A bit of everything. I have a history of diabetes in the family, I was very overweight in middle school and a bit of high school, I was depressed over family issues, and I really wanted to feel proud of something. It seems like during the summer time people forget the real reason to be fit. It should be for personal satisfaction and healthfully practical. You should NOT lift because you want women. In my opinion you are bastardizing and mocking this lifestyle. Yes, this is a bit of a rant but I really am interested in understanding your motives.
