Me being moderately artsy and bored. Lots of money in these pics especially of the trio.
Had a CQB; over-rated in my book. Wouldn't mind the Operator, but I have five 1911's and I think I'm gonna stop there.
Way to go keepin' the ARs simple. I've got a plain jane version, then my heavy camera whore.
Those wood grips look like shit. Get some black you weird fucker.
i dont see no pics
they look nice
Agreed. I also like the cocobolo on the CQB, but hey, that's just me.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, PT is .
I was thinking about a CQB, but I can't really justify the extra cost. My next 1911 will probably be an operator
PT, dude, don't do it! Honestly. I build the things. CQB's ain't shit when you know something about 1911's. I hate to knock them, but, hell, it's the truth. You can spend $350 on a RIA, put $400 and about 12-15 hours worth of work (if you know what you are doing) and build a better pistol.
Wilson brags about time spent on pistols, but I rolled my eyes at them when shooting a build beside their gun. Others laughed at Wilson, too, when shooting the gun I built. Mass production (even on a small scale) will never beat a patient, home honed job.
Yeah, the OD/black is pretty, but hell, DuraCoat is just as durable and makes a decent copy in color scheme. I've done it.
Essentially, it's your money. You can say, "Oooh, I've got a Wilson CQB!" and others will ooooh and aaaah. However, you can say, "Look at this 1911 I built" and then, you will have other's RESPECT. The choice is yours.
I said I was THINKING about it. And I am not a gunsmith, I am a shooter.
Want to buy a Wilson KZ-45
Besides...no one gives a fuck what gun you have. You get respect by being a good shooter.
Guess I'm not getting any respect anytime soon, then. I just put together AR's from time to time.
I was thinking the same why ruin such a nice gun
so you get no respect?
fawking California, can't get AR-15's legally anymore
