How much are you willing to spend on it? The starting bid is $330, but if you can get it for under $400 should be a good deal. I've seen bran new one's for $435 or so. I've seen nice Loaded ones for high $400's, and I'd rather have one of those.

I had one, I used it as a range gun mostly, but I never had any problems with mine. They are a great base 1911.

I'm starting to turn on to 1911s. I'm thinking I may get one some day.

I don't know what it is but I've really taken a liking to them lately. I will probably start with a GI also unless the better half of my bank account will let me get a loaded. :hs:

Looks like a really decent gun. If you are wanting a 1911, I say go for it.

Springer 1911's in general are high quality. You can't go wrong.

I have a Springfield 1911 GI-spec and love it. For some reason, mine came with plastic grip panels instead of the wood ones (they also don't have the "GI" logo), but it was only $375 NEW at my local gunshop. They had 4 of them for that price. :bigthumb:

I just picked up a Kahr 1911. It was cheap and it works. I just need to put a new front sight on it. I'll probably end up replacing the sights altogether, actually.

Thanks for all the responses guys, I spoke to my girlfriend about it and she didn't seem very mad about me wanting another gun. She understands it's a hobby that I love and was very understanding, she even offered to pay half.

So I will either be picking up this one or another.
