I don't need one, I know my own rights. I hope you're just trolling, you know how eroding rights eventually ends up.
i understand it. yelling at a guy who is just trying to make a living is full on karen territory. what you want that guy to stand up for your rights at the cost of his livelihood?

but with this guy being the head of security he is a slightly different territory. the real question is he a policy maker or just a guy enforcing someone elses policy. i think the contact with the county legal is the right first step to work through the issue.

Yo

A little justice porn feels good. A comeuppance (@crotch, @rcm) if you will, delivered to the dudes that ignored the law, and your rights, is likely.

On the other hand, ask yourself if this event is worth the time investment. Also, could there be repercussions in some other facet, such as you being barred from these and other premises that the county controls?

If it were me, I'd say let the little fella have his power trip. He's a glorified bouncer, and you make more in two months than he does in a year.

You can't be barred from county owned property for following the law and exposing violations of it in their own systems in place. Plus this is Broward county which is too disorganized to actually be able to do that. And just sounds like more lawsuits for mikey that he gets paid attorney fees on to bring.

I’m totally kidding. You should sue so they can’t do it to anybody else.

I assume in your professional circles that this would get out if you went with whatever direction you decide, no? Would this affect your position at your firm or reputation at all?

it's absolutely worth it, as it may take a couple hours of my time to draft the lawsuit.

no, they cannot ban me from public places lol.

it's not about money. first of all, i have a constitutional and legislative right to carry it. hard stop. period. that's all that should be needed for you to care. If you were going 44 in a 45 and got a ticket, you'd probably think that's not justified.. i'm not violating a law, and he's infringing on my right to do something i'm perfectly legally able to do. fuck him and fuck you too :)

what does that have to do with the policy? send your letter to the county. or hell for our entertainment file a civil rights case.

or just sue him personally.

or all 3 at once.

Don’t view it that way at all. I was just curious and assumed that would be the case.

When it's obvious you're being this intentionally dense, I just cannot engage.

DISENGAGE

DISENGAGE

you will not violate my rights!

for real: file away. i'd be curious how much they fight back against it. the FL statute is painfully clear.

I don't trust any government entity to do as they should even half of the time. Not a single one.

There's no argument from me that your rights were violated, here or previously posted. My concern was about your time and maybe potential blowback.

Since it's not a huge impact on your time, especially during family time/the holidays, then yeah, go for it.
