I just tried it and assigned it to the flashlight. It works, but the phone has to be unlocked so that's pretty useless.

i hate that they got rid of the magnifying glass when you are typing/in a field. tap and hold to get the magnifying glass then you can move the cursor where it needs to go. then i searched and found out that you can hold down the space bar and the iphone becomes a trackpad and you can move the cursor wherever you want.

Dumb feature. Activates when you don't want it and only works with aggressive and deliberate tapping when you can't always do that (e.g. holding with 1 hand, which is the only time it is useful to begin with).
