To get ride of pin stripes?

    Searched and didn't find an active thread about it. I'd like to get rid of the pin stripes I have on the car. Here is a pic of the car for example:

    Use a heat gun to soften the adhesive and most of the stripes should pull off pretty easily. It is possible though that since the car is older, some of the pinstripes may come off in tiny little cracked pieces and the paint underneath may be darker or lighter than the rest of the paint.

    if there is glue or tiny crackles left you could use goo-gone and a hair dryer, well, atleast thats what i did :-\

    yeah the paint will be faded a little, and under the stripes it will not be.. it will still look like faint stripes.

    Always remember to re-wax after using a Goo Gone or Goof Off-type product.
