WR man admits to making up shooting story By Becky Purser - Telegraph Staff Writer WARNER ROBINS -- A Warner Robins man is accused of making up a story that he'd been shot after he accidentally shot himself, according to a Warner Robins police news release. Miguel Woodson, 22, told police he was walking down a street, heard gunfire and was shot July 23 in the right leg, the release said. He refused to give police any details of the alleged incident, according to the release. But Devon Riley, who drove Woodson to the Houston Medical Center, told police that Woodson had been playing with a small-caliber handgun in the passenger seat of Riley's truck and that the gun discharged when Woodson put it in his pants pocket, the release said. When confronted, Woodson admitted to shooting himself accidentally, according to the release. Friday, an arrest warrant was issued for Woodson on the charge of false report of a crime, the release said. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call Warner Robins police at 929-6911.
