Hey guys, what are your opinions on this shot? Did I overdo the PP?
I dont like PPing stuff to hell and back.
My general rule is that if you have to ask if theres been too much done, then there has been too much done.
tone down the shadow/highlights it looks like you hit it pretty hard
you turned it into something that looks like it came out of a cellphone on a really sunny day
Yeah, I had something in mind and it just didn't get there. Here's the original.
did you really clip the shoe?
Ahh..sonofa... No, I just cropped it too tight. I'll re-crop it later...it's time for some sleep.
Thanks for the second set of eyes.
[not so ninja edit] What do you mean clipped the shoe?
Crop, Clip. Same Crap.
I agree to tone it down some. Any more of the model herself?
I know, I re-cropped it wider and replaced the picture.
Here's the whole set: http://www.allenowenphotography.com/p994093394/
Most of the poses where her idea so when they get a little strange, don't blame me.
More of what your asking for:
where is the location where she's IN the water? I'd like to use that for some of my future shoots.
These were all shot downtown. The picture above is shot under the bridge of Preston St. and Bagby. The waterfall is by the Wortham, the doors are the Houston Public Library (you will get run off if the model keeps pressing her ass to the window)...the rest are all around that area. They're all geotagged on my flickr account: http://www.flickr.com/photos/allenowen/sets/72157605349937067/
It's a great place to shoot.
lose the damn papyrus
What's wrong with my damn Papyrus?
I could always put some borders and lens flare on.
Nobody said anything to you guys about her being in the fountain?
Nope, I've never had a problem with shooting at that water fall fountain. I know many photographers that shoot there also and have never heard of any problems. It's not exactly in a high traffic or high visibility area.
