On my Heath Ledger shit
Doing this for two reasons:
1. I want to see how badly everyone penalizes Overeem for Werdum's shenanigans.
2. Curious to see exactly who makes the cut for everyone. I wouldn't have thought Roy would be in the top ten today but, shit, here we are.

1. Cain Velasquez
2. Junior Dos Santos
3. Brock Lesnar
4. Alistair Overeem
5. Shane Carwin
6. Frank Mir
7. Antonio Silva
8. Fedor
9. Josh Barnett
10. Roy Nelson

Anyone puttin roy nelson top 10 should be shot. Hes tryig to save himself from being cut by dana with all these lame ass comments and excuses after his mir fight. Anyone who heard his post fight comments or his call in on the MMA hour would know how delusional he is

Schawb easily replaces him, which i see nobody did.

You do remember what happened when Schaub stepped into the cage with Roy right?

A loss to the #2 and #5/6 HW does not get you cut from the UFC.

Fuck phone crahsed and didnt post. Short version

Yes i did and what has schwab done since then and what has roy done since then?

Roy has been awful in most of his ufc bouts

Who could roy face next? Certainly not anyone on the top10 lists in this post. When a case for schawb to face 5-10 on this can be made

So logically schawb replaces roy easily. Not even a questio

SchaUb beat two scrubs, a washed up CroCop and Gonzaga.

Nelson KO'd Struve and got beat by 2 of the top 4 HW's in the UFC

Nothing against Schaub but Nelson can fight, he proved that when he KO'd Schaub.

4. Antonio Silva
5. Fedor Emelianenko
6. Josh Barnett
7. Brock Lesnar

9. Fabricio Werdum
10. Frank Mir

Everyone is hating on AO for his fight against Werdum, but it drove his stock up in my eyes. He didn't put on an exciting show but he stuck to the game plan and showed a style I think would give trouble to almost everyone else in the division. As long as his TDD and ability to get back up holds, there will be few fighters against whom I would pit AO as the underdog.

Rankings are silly, especially when different guys have taken different paths to where they are now in different orgs, against different competition. But if I had to...

Velasquez
Dos Santos
Overeem (for now)
Silva
Lesnar
Barnett
Carwin
Kharitonov
Mir
Fedor

10. Roy Nelson

I like the list for the most part, but did you just forget about Werdum, or do you really feel he doesn't belong on there?

Ooh, ooh, I know!

Schaub beat 3 cans and a has-been, and Roy KO'd an up-and-comer and lost decisions to two top-10 fighters.

What do I win?

Kharitonov is a beast. He would put up a good fight against any of the top 10. The only reason I didn't include him is due to his loss to Monson, but these lists are so arbitrary in any case that I really can't take issue with anyone including him. If he makes it past Barnett he'd be in my top 10 for sure.

Werdum is hyper-inflated because he beat Fedor, the same way Gonzaga was hyper-inflated because he beat crocop.

I agree he squeaks into the top 10 if he can beat Barnett, but to have him #4 right now is asinine. He has two wins in the last 2+ years, one against a LHW who is barely over .500, and another against a fighter with a glass chin riding a 4 fight losing streak.

Lets see him get a real win before he gets in the top 10, let alone the top 5.
