two pounds a week is alot for a natural person, if you wanna be fat like me, do it, but i would recomend takign it a bit slower.
You need to vastly improve your stamina now, it is retarded waiting to cut.
if you are looking for strength why the fuck are you using arnolds program?
That % increase crap looks good on paper, but your body does nto work like that.
1-1.5 pound a week ideally, for minimized fat gains.
And 2.5% a week is a LOT for some exercises you know. It's not that simple.
Well I suppose thats true. I dont have enough experience to know what my gains will be practically, its kind of just a guideline for now.
Well I do cardio now, but Im going to increase it later.
I just like the lifts that are in it, I do reps differently depending on what seems to be working. Im sure it will evolve as I get more experience.

weight X reps in last set
Clean and Press
Notes: Under-estimated what I could do.
wow ya. Totally fucking abandoned this thread. Can't believe its 2 years old. Funny to see now though. Still weigh 190 haha after going up to 220 for a while about this time last year, had a lot of strength then, less now, but still way more than when this thread was created and a shit load more muscle than fat now too.
Feeling good now though and last month or so feel like im making gains faster than normal so want to try to keep that going as long as I can then cut back on calories for a while.
Been doing a routine equivalent to that WS4SB article although modified and improvised alot for the last few months. Thinking about switching to a bodybuilding typed split like the ones in Arnold's book for hypertrophy. Only problem with that being I travel so much I never know what gyms Ill be able to find so alot of different exercises per body part usually requires diverse types of equipment.
Nutrition wise using calorie calculator for tracking macro-nutrients. Been getting close to the 3500 calories that seems to work for me as far as making clean gains. Keep going over on the % of fat by alot though, got to watch that.
Cardio notes for today. Get back into doing a running/flexibillity/PT routine in the morning as a matter of routine. I keep skipping it when I try to fit it in later or immediately after lifting.
