I like how M$ admits that they're using PowerMacs for XBOX development, but then go on to say that something to the extent of "we'll have a better system for developers soon." Right, as if one exists.
Just keep in mind that these are NOT G5 processors. They are a PowerPC derivative, but that doesn't mean its a G4, G5, etc. Though I can't find the exact specs right now, each core in the Xbox360 can process 2 threads, for a total of 6. Meanwhile, each G5 processor can handle 8 threads (I believe that was the correct number). A dual G5 could technically handle 16.
Yeah, I also read in some gaming magazine that the new XBOX 360 processors will be able to churn out over a teraflop. That one made me chuckle... I think some people have delusions of grandeur.

I haven't seen that... but it won't anyway... Everyone's way over-exaggerating the capabilities of these consoles. Does anyone remember the "Emotion Engine?" I rest my case.
