ART True meaning of going viral

some guy in Austin was at a meeting this morning and posted the following picture on his FB page, and apparently his pics are visible to anyone.

Saw it this morning (he has a few photog friends in common w/ me, but I don't know him) and it had 20-30 comments and about the same 'likes'. So tonight, a good family friend of mine emails the same FB picture to me and asks me if I'd seen it. I click on it, and here's what I see.

first I thought it was because of his flickr account he posts the stuff to, but the flickr account only shows about 1,600 hits to the same pic. I don't know wtf happened, but the shit just blew UP!

I'm totally jelly btw.
