The NewsWeek version, from a Bureau Chief who rarely ventured outside the safety of the Green Zone for the last two years: Abu Ghraib! Trash in the Green Zone! The troops are rude! WTF heat! Last one out, turn on the lights! Link: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/8101422/site/newsweek/ The version from an embedded reporter who has lived and breathed the real Iraq for over 6 months: Iraqi's are good people who are being victimized by outsiders and radicals. The troops are doing honorable work in difficult circumstances and we have every reason to be proud of them. News organizations expect their correspondents to provide stories that show the US in a bad light. When reporters aren't anti-US, their editors back home accuse them of sympathizing too much with the troops. Link: http://michaelyon.blogspot.com/ NewsWeek should be embarrassed and ashamed.
