Thought I'd share this tidbit of good news. It's the NRA, so take it for what it's worth.
That's cool. It seems kind of sad though that this even had to go to a vote. Why would anything in the bill of rights NOT apply to a law abiding American citizen anywhere w/in the borders of the United States??
Now they need to do it for Chicago.
I'm surprised it passed by that significant of a margin, but wasn't the primary focus of this to give DC another seat in the House or Senate or something? So the gun legislation was riding along with that? Or do I have it backwards?
I think you are right. Having a DC representative in the house means 1 more vote on the side of the democratic party.
I just found that this also adds a House seat for Utah... that one will more than likely Republican ... order and balance is restored to the universe again.
Now do that with NY, and CA, and MD and NJ?
sweet, so it will be thrown out when they toss out the unconsitutional "give dc a vote" bill
is there anything that is stopping DC from applying for statehood?
Do you shoot anywhere around cdale?
