Ubuntu Dapper Drake on Mac Mini core solo

    awesome, I haven't given it a try, but I assume the x86 Ubuntu live CD will boot up if I hold down 'c'. I might have to give it a try when I get home this evening.

    It worked for me as soon as I updated the firmware. I used the same x86 Dapper disk that I've used on several PCs. Now I can't wait to see how XGL and compiz look on the integrated intel graphics

    so curious, but OS X is already running on a unix kernel. any reason why you'd go to linux when you can run that on any old PC?

    just to say that i did it...and i really like XGL and Compiz and wanted to see how well they perform on the Intel graphics chip

    ...and that too :wiggle:
