I like how they showed the Cote/Silva fight in a way that implied Cote got rocked in any way, even though he was fine apart from his ACL

Indeed. Also a clip showing Brock taking down Mir in the lead up to the title, but he lost.

I love how Canadiens can turn "something" into "nothing" by simply blinking their eye for the home team.

you know A. Silva was fucking around with Cote, maybe being a bit cautious so he didn't take a big hit, but even up to then all the rounds would have gone to Silva anyway.

Still, it was only 2-0 Silva at that point. There were 3 rounds left. For all his fucking around Anderson landed a couple huge shots, which Cote walked right through.

Would Silva have won had it gone the distance? Most likely. But regardless, Cote did far better than Franklin, Marquardt, and Henderson.

I totally agree, but do you think we saw the best A.Silva yet? or was he mucking about with Cote?

That jumping knee was 100% best A.Silva.

Silva wasn't mucking about. He was respecting Cote's ability to take a punch.

Since that fight happened people seemed to think Anderson could have flipped a switch and finished it at will, which is simply not true. He hit Cote two times as hard as he's hit anyone else and Cote was just like 'wat?'.

Not saying Cote would have won the fight or come any closer than he did. Just saying Silva wasn't toying with Cote like people make it out to be.
