I could bullshit you and say 2400 currently online but my guess would be around 900-1100. Most people have 2-3 accounts running would be my guess.

Have you ever placed a castle in UO? I think there is only 7 spots on the map you can place a castle and im sure there taken now.

I didn't know it was that little. I thought I've come across a couple of places that could have been doable. I don't have a surveyors tool though

the world is large but you cant place over trees and some bushes. You need 31x31 squares with nothing in the way to place it.

I've placed more than a couple of houses in my life. Perhaps I'm just underestimating the sheer size of the castle. I know things like rocks and bushes can block you out.

yup but they are not the same as osi. They made the decay longer.
